Happy New Year!

Hi friends.  Bonnie here with you for the last post of the year for Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Wow - how can it be the last day of 2016??!!!
This card features a fun new Shaker Card die from Cheery Lynn Designs along with Silver and Gold Glitz Ribbon.  Glitz Ribbon is fast becoming one of my favorite ribbons for creating gorgeous bows.  It performs wonderfully.
I wrapped some Silver Metallic String around the middle of the card and also used some to accent each side of the sentiment.
My bow was created on my Bow-it-All V3.0 using Silver and Gold Glitz Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I used a 14mm Flower Shaped Acrylic Rhinestone Embellishment in the center of the bow.

For a video tutorial on how to create this gorgeous bow, please click HERE.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.  For more information on the other products I used on my card today, visit my Make Time to Craft Blog.

I want to wish you all a very Happy, Healthy and Crafty New Year!!

Celebrate & Sweetheart Blossoms

Welcome by today!  It's Karen here today sharing a sweet little wooden hoop that I decorated by adding some 2 1/2" Cotton Blend Holiday Snowflake Ribbon, Cotton Blend Ribbon (out of stock), and Lipstick Red Seam Binding.  I topped that with a sweet little 12mm Crystal Flatback Round Acrylic Rhinestone.
The sentiment is just an old sticker from my stash that I backed with a torn piece of the  2 1/2" Cotton Blend Holiday Snowflake Ribbon, and then I added some glittery foliage to the side of the hoop.  I used a small piece of Natural Solid Baker's Twine to make a loop on the back-side so that the hoop can be hung on a wall or hook.
Really Reasonable Ribbon carries 47 different colors of Seam Binding, and it's a beautiful trim that can be used in so many different ways.  You're sure to find some trims you will absolutely LOVE.
Before I run off, I wanted to share another quick little card I created using one of the many fabulous styles of Mulberry Flowers carried at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  These sweet little flowers are called Sweetheart Blossoms, and they come in several gorgeous colors and sizes.
Aren't they sweet?  I added a bow tied with Cream Seam Binding, and added some Two-Toned Peach Sweetheart Blossoms, Ivory Sweetheart Blossoms, and (a blueish tone) from the Mixed Colors Sweetheart Blossoms.
Be sure to check out the fun new challenge beginning January 6 on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog, and be sure to stop by and do some shopping in the super sweet RRR Ribbon Shop.  We're so glad you stopped by!

Dream - Altered Frame

Hello Ribbon Lovers!
Sharing a dreamy altered frame today that is super easy to create in record time using beautiful ribbons and embellishments.
Gather your list of supplies:
Frame
Vintage Music
I glued on a few of the ivory flowers, then I made a double bow with the ribbon and adding the bling embellishment.  Next I tucked and glue the Juliet Lace into place.
Using the frame as a template, I cut out the vintage sheet music and tucked inside.
I hope you enjoyed another fun and easy project.

Chilly Enough For You?

{judy} My post today is short and sweet! I have my little 15 month old granddaughter visiting for five days for Christmas -- she is a doll -- and she lives over 1300 miles away. I haven't seen her in seven months, and she has grown so much!

So -- without further ado..... is it chilly enough for you where you are? We are having very unusually warm weather for December -- and I am thankful for that when I have relatives visiting and travel can be treacherous otherwise!

I love this stamp set from Flourishes called Pinwheels & Popsicles. I colored in the popsicles using Spectrum Noir markers, and then doodled around the outside edge to make a frame. The patterned paper is from American Crafts. I added a couple of fringed paper flowers (also from AC) and some super cute (and PERFECT!) ribbon -- Citrus Multi Dots Grosgrain -- and made a bow. The ribbon has all the colors that I needed and wanted to use! You can also find it in a spool -- and on sale at 40% off! All of my layers are held together with Scor-Tape.

I hope the rest of your 2016 affords you a couple of days to chill out! Happy New Year!

A Good Old Fashioned Happy New Year Card

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  I hope you've all had a wonderful Christmas Day with friends and/or family!  In spite of some seasonal colds, we all had a wonderful time, and I personally ate too many cookies!  Now we're all looking forward to ringing in 2017!  Happy New Year!

I've used gorgeous White Glitz Ribbon to add just the right touch of glam and shine to this vintage style Happy New Year card made with Graphic 45's Place in Time collection.  It lightens up the composition and sparkles just like bubbles in a glass of champagne.

Here's a closer look.  I topped it with a loopy Ivory Burlap String Bow and tucked a little chipboard tag in for fun.

I hope your New Year's celebration is safe and happy.  We'll be staying at home watching my favorite holiday movie, "It's a Wonderful Life."  And I might just munch on a cookie or two!

Cheerio,
kathy

Warm Winter Wishes Card

Hi friends! Linsey here today sharing a super easy card featuring winter themed ribbon. I sometimes miss sending all my Christmas cards and this card is perfect to send after the holidays but still has a fun and festive winter theme. I used a single strip of Snowflakes on Hot Red Grosgrain Ribbon, which looks great with 2 different patterned papers that coordinate with the ribbon theme. A button, a few sequins, a fun penguin--and done! I hope you like it!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Happy crafting!

White Christmas Holiday Tag

Hello everyone and Merry Christmas Eve to all!  I hope you all have a Blessed Christmas and enjoy your time with your loved ones .

Today I have a tag I created using Really Reasonable Ribbon's Beautiful Shimmer Satin Ribbon, and Bakers Twine.
My tag was designed using several Cheery Lynn dies, some Stickles, stickers, pearls, and Really Reasonable Ribbons beautiful Crystal Embellishment that I put on my bow treatment. I LOVE making my bows using the beautiful Shimmer Satin Pearl Pink, and this one is one of my many favorites from RRR. To hang the tag on a gift, I used Baker's Twine in Silver Metallic.

I LOVE making these fun BIG tags, and they not only look pretty on gifts, but make it easy to read who the gift is for, as on the back I do the writing :)
I hope you enjoyed today's post, and thank you for looking.  Have a Very Merry Christmas!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

Merry Christmas to All!

Hi friends.  Bonnie here with my FINAL Christmas card for 2016!  It's embellished with pretty ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  The big day is almost here!!
I colored up an adorable little reindeer image from Whimsie Doodles, and topped it off with a gorgeous bow with a 10mm Resin Flower with Rhinestone Center.  It's just not done until it has a gorgeous bow!
I was doing really well up until I tried to create a 'ground' for this cutie to stand on.  I should have just let him float!  😏  Ah well, practice makes perfect, right?!
My beautiful bow was made on my Bow-it-All V3.0 using 5/8" Emerald Green Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon and Red Bold Check Plaid Ribbon.  The center is finished off with 10mm Resin Flower with Rhinestone Center.

For a video tutorial on how to create this pretty bow, please click HERE.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.  For more information on the other products used on my card, please visit my Make Time to Craft Blog.

Christmas Trophy Shadow Box

Hey there Peeps! It's almost Christmas!!!!! I'm pretty excited to be spending the holiday with my family. Of course there's prezzies and treats too but my happy place is being with my kiddos.  Today I'm dropping in to share a pretty fabby little shadow box I created with RRR trim and some fun and festive embellies.

I'm using the Red Chevron Striped Twill for a bow and to wrap around the box so it will have a nice finished edge.
Okay that's all for me. Wishing you all a happy and productive day : ) G

Cherishing Family Memories

There's something wonderful about paper bag mini albums that I just LOVE!  All that cuteness, sweetness and potential for storing precious family memories all in one adorable little book.  And it's SUPER easy with Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I started with two small kraft paper bags that I covered with patterned papers, embellished, and then bound using my Zutter Bind-It-All.  That gave me a total of 8 pages (too many to show you all the pages), but I'm sharing some highlights from this sweet Paper Bag Mini Album.
The bound edge has 2 1/2" Cotton Blend Ribbon strips that are torn and tied to the binding along with lengths of 2 1/2" Cotton Blend Holiday Snowflakes RibbonBurlap Center Stitch Red, and Burlap Center Stitch Green.  The cover also has a sweet White Flat Back Pearl from our amazing new Embellishments category.  And let me also mention one MUST-HAVE item for EVERY crafter; and that is Scor-Tape.  Scor-Tape securely holds your cards and mini albums together and is a permanent and AWESOME adhesive that comes in several widths.  Stock up today, my friends.  You won't be sorry.
As I mentioned, it's just too much to share all eight pages.  You'll see lots of sweet little ribbony tabs tucked in here and there including snippets of 1 1/2" Red Gingham RibbonStriped Green, and Burlap Center Stitch Red.  There are also lots of great pockets for photo and journalling tags, and plenty of places for tucking in precious memories.  You'll also see that I used a Decorative Bitty Bag on one of my tags so that I could tuck in another journalling card.
Really Reasonable Ribbon carries so many great ribbons, laces, trims, embellishments, flowers, and so much more to help you adorn a Paper Bag Album.  They're fun, easy, and make great little gifts for Christmas.
All those great layers of ribbons, papers, and sweet little touches to help you document and cherish family memories.  Why not try making a Mini Paper Bag Album for yourself.  I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have, and Really Reasonable Ribbon can help you find all the supplies you need.
Just look at all the yummy ribbons!  Really Reasonable Ribbon carries the sweetest trims to adorn your next project.  And since Christmas is approaching, this is a great time to either treat yourself, or make a "Wish List" for your hubby so that you'll be sure to get what you truly LOVE this Christmas .....RIBBONS!  And don't forget about the FUN CHALLENGE taking place now on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog.

Happy crafting,

Sweet Cookie Cutter Ornament

Hello Ribbon Lovers!  I am here to share a sweet ornament that you can easily create today to hang on your tree or use as a present topper to give someone special.
I used beautiful ribbons from the  December Ribbon Club Assortment, a Pearl Heart Ribbon Slider, Molly Lace Ribbon, Bakers Twine Metallic, crystal, vintage cookie cutter, assorted papers, quote and image.

I punched a hole in the top and bottom of the cookie cutter ornament.  Next I lined the inside, added the image, white corrugated paper, Molly Lace and quote.

Then using the Bakers Twine Metallic, I tied it through the crystal and attached it to the ornamnet.
Next, I added the bow, pearl slider and glued it into place.  Then I added another ribbon to make a hanger for the ornament.

I hope you enjoyed a fun and easy project you can create just in time for the holidays!

I heart Christmas Tag

Well hello there Paper Peeps! Today's project is a tag I created for my SIL. During the holidays I create tags for her and my MIL instead of cards. I gifted them a pretty little painted wrought iron rack and when they get new tags for the season, they hang them on the rack to display.

I have decide that my go to ribbon trim for projects with a lot for busy papers is the Center Stitch Burlap. It adds texture for detail instead of pattern so it accents the patterns instead of competes with them.
Okay that's all for me. Wishing all of you a happy and productive day : ) G

Retro Santa and Rudolph Card with Pocket and Tags

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  Do you have all your Christmas cards made yet?  I'm just about finished, but I had an idea today for a very fun twist on my signature pocket cards.

Black Plaid Ribbon and Snowflakes on Red Satin Ribbon make this retro Santa card festive and fun.  This 5x7 top fold card is made with Authentique's Retro Christmas collection..

To help keep Santa and Rudolph warm while they are out delivering gifts in the sleigh, I slipped a packet of hot chocolate behind a belly band on the inside of the card.  To do this, I simply cut a strip of designer paper, matted it on black cardstock and then just glued the ends on either side of the top half of the card.  The cocoa packet fits perfectly!

Then I made a pocket for the bottom half of the card. I created some cute tags and then used ivory burlap string to tie on Christmas charms. The mini envelope is made with one of Tammy Tutterow's dies. It has this cool little window in it that is just the right size to hold an itty bitty chocolate.  These goodies all fit neatly into the pocket on the bottom half of the card. Of course, you could tuck a small gift card in there as well.

This would be such a cute little Secret Santa gift!  Oh, and I did a "quality control" test on the hot chocolate to make sure it's up to Santa's standards.  It passed with flying colors!

I hope you're finding time during this busy season to enjoy a little creative time for yourself.  It's great therapy!

Thanks for stopping by!

DIY Pinecone & Dried Fruit Wreath

Hello RRR friends and happy weekend! Today I'm sharing my rustic DIY pinecone and dried fruit holiday wreath. It was really easy and fun to make. I especially like how the cinnamon stick and flower accents on top of the big pinecones turned out with the festive Plaid Ribbon Christmas Traditions bows tied to them.  Here's my wreath and I hope you like it too!
A closer up view of this lovely ribbon that ties into perfect bows so easily and it just looks so pretty!
I hope you might be inspired to grab some pinecones from the yard or park like I did and make your very own wreath with pretty ribbons and flowers or anything else you can think of! If you do, be sure to share with me at my blog so I can see your beautiful work! Thanks so much for stopping by today! Happy creating!
